Trivandrum Social Service Society (TSSS) is an NGO providing comprehensive community-based solutions in health, education, environment, capacity building, infrastructure development, and livelihood for marginalized communities.
Registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Act (Registration) Act XII of 1955, complying with all legal requirements (Registration No.352/85). TSSS has been active for 63 years, making significant contributions in social empowerment, community development, poverty eradication and environmental conservation.
The organization focuses on marginalized groups such as women, children, fishermen, migrants and differently-abled individuals across Trivandrum and Thuthoor region in Kanyakumari district.
TSSS’s work is structured under six Commissions and includes Training and Rehabilitation Centres. These Commissions drive targeted programs for marginalized communities, supported by Training and Rehabilitation Centres for capacity building.
Since its inception the Society has made numerous facelifts in its approach, activities and strategies that grow from charity to development and to empowerment.

GUIDING LIGHT AND VISIONARY LEADERSHIP REMEMBERED
Rt.Rev.Dr. Peter Bernard Pereira, was born on 21st June 1917 in an ancient and noble catholic family (Kottarkari) in Murukkunpuzha in the northern part of the Trivandrum District.
He was ordained as a priest on 24th March 1944. The late Bishop served the Trivandrum dioceses with a selfless dedicated spirit. He was born leader, and able administrator, and above all a disciplinarian.
In the social field, he achieved a lot for the upliftment of the poor and down- trodden. The Trivandrun Social Society started by his was a new field of enterprise at that time in this respect.
