Kerala Labour Movement is the platform to organize the unorganized workers like tailors, measons, taxi drivers etc for their welfare and development. Some of the workers forums organized by KLM have been registered as the independent trade unions in par with any other trade unions in the State. 63 KLM units are working in the different regions of Trivandrum. Fish workers inclusive of men and women engaged in fishing, fish vending and allied activities are the major working class of the Organization. 1675 members are part of TSSS, KLM programme.

Labour Movement is the official organ of Kerala Catholic Bishop’s Council’s (KCBC) Commission for Labour, working for the welfare and empowerment of unorganized workers in Kerala to enhance their dignity through the proper dissemination of the labour rights and labour justice. 65 KLM units are functioning in TSSS comprising of farmers, tailors, shop keepers, drivers, masons, domestic workers and migrant workers in 9 regions with 1675 members. Every year KLM reaches out to 4000 people.
