Trivandrum Social Service Society(TSSS), an NGO dedicated to being an end-to-end community based solution provider and enabler in areas of health, education, environment, capacity building, infrastructure development and livelihood for vulnerable and at-risk communities is a development organization registered under Travancore – Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies (Registration) Act XII of 1955, complying with all legal requirements (Registration No.352/85). The Society has been undertaking various social activities for the benefit of the poor and has had an impeccable record since its inception.
TSSS has made remarkable imprints in the society through its efforts in poverty eradication, employment generation, community health, social mobility, advocacy, policy lobbying and networking and empowerment of differently abled, women, children, Dalits, fishermen, migrants and other marginalized sections of the society for the past 63 years. Since its inception the Society has made numerous facelifts in its approach, activities and strategies that grow from charity to development and to empowerment. And it is making a measurable impact on different communities in Trivandrum and Kanayakumari Districts. The developmental activities of the organization functions under six Commissions along with Training and Rehabilitation Centres.
