The Thiruvananthapuram Latin Archdiocese Social Service Committee celebrated Environment Day on June 5 as part of “Green Week” with the theme “Our Earth is Our Future.” The event, held within the Archdiocesan Campus, was presided over by the Archdiocesan Vicar General, Mon. Eugene H. Perera, who performed the inauguration ceremony.
Archdiocesan Ministry Coordinator Rev. Fr. Lawrence Kulas, Director of the Social Service Committee Fr. Ashlin Jose also shared messages for Environment Day. Various ministry directors, including Rev. Fr. Shaju William, Rev. Fr. Richard, Rev. Fr. Jeniston, Rev. Vigil George, Rev. Fr. Bijoy, Rev. Fr. Stanlin Fernandes, and Rev. Fr. Rajesh, planted fruit tree saplings. Sisters and various ministry staff members also participated in this program.
