Sustainable Solutions: Empowering Communities for Environmental Conservation.
TSSS actively promotes sustainable waste management practices, in coastal areas, by organizing community clean-up drives, recycling initiatives, and educational programs to raise awareness about the importance of reducing waste and protecting the environment.
The “Go Green” initiative at TSSS focuses on environmental conservation through planting of tree seedlings, distribution of vegetable seeds and saplings, mangrove foresting and enhancing local ecosystems for a healthier planet. Around 28,000 trees have been planted in the different regions in last several years. More than 5,000 organic gardens are promoted in the regions.
Every year we encourage and promote 8 villages as “Green villages” to keep their regions clean and green. Plastic waste is collected and handed over to Haritha Karma Sena (Green Army) especially in coastal areas.
