Self Help Groups (SHG) are locally formed groups of 10 to 20 women living in the same area helping each other to achieve a common goal aiming to eradicate poverty, increase saving mentality among women and make them empowered, self sufficient in social and political arena on par with the sustainable development goals of UN. The SHG members through their charitable acts remain a support for the poor and marginalized in the society. TSSS educates and capacitates them on gender mainstreaming, environment conservation and strive to end domestic violence against women, dowry system, atrocities against women and children and make them empowered on leadership, income generation programmes and entrepreneurships. Through 986 registered SHGs under TSSS we reach out to more than 10000 women. We mainly capacitate them for social, political and economical empowerment in an eco-feminist perspective.
