TSSS provides children with supplementary education opportunities during the regular school day to enrich formal and informal learning and development. This ensures children’s literacy skills and the potential for academic success. We provide raising aspirations, learning mother-tongue languages, core curriculum teaching, cultural engagement, partnership with mainstream schools, peer support and engaging parents through Supplementary education. In the programme, primary focus was given to those school children who are unable to afford the high fees for private tuition and did not have conducive atmosphere at their homes. 12 supplementary centres are functioning under TSSS in Thoothoor, Pulluvila, Anjengo and Valiathura regions with the support of 27 teachers benefitting 750 students.
